WE CARE CLOTHING CENTER

As a part of our Caring Ministry, our spacious, modern We Care Clothing Center is located at the north end of the church’s parking lot on Joe Street. Open for people to come and shop for themselves at no cost, the Center assists hundreds of people each month. The Center’s work is directed by sister Barbara Moore.  Her quiet, loving and positive spirit is an inspiration to everyone who works or shops at the We Care Center. 

The Center is open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Because of the generosity of the citizens of Ponca City and surrounding communities, the Center is able to also provide special assistance at various times during the year.  There is annual Christmas Toy Give Away during the month of December.  A few weeks before school begins, school supplies are also provided for families who sign up.  During the winter months, there is a “Coats and Blankets” Give Away to those in need of additional warmth.  The Center also maintains a “Baby Room” where provisions are available for maternity and newborns.  

A limited supply of small household items and used appliances are available, as well as other household needs.  Occasionally beds and other pieces of furniture are donated to the Center, and again these are available to anyone who has a need without cost.

We want to genuinely thank the many willing workers at the Center and those good people who bring us the many items we are able to pass on to others.  May God receive all of the praise!
