Our Mission

Because of what scriptures such as the ones given above teach, the Hartford congregation realizes we have an obligation to minister to those who are in need.  While the primary mission of any congregation of God’s people is to help spread the gospel, we also must strive to follow the example of Jesus by doing good to those who are hurting.  Although our resources are limited,  we know that God is unlimited in what He can do, and perhaps through us, He can help you.  Please give us a call (580 765-3610) or come by our offices (1905 Joe Street, Ponca City, OK) during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday) to speak with us about your situation. 

Sometimes people just need a friendly ear to listen to them.  We would like to be a friend to you and share the blessing we experience as part of the family of God here in Ponca City.  Below is a brief listing of the kinds of help we may be able to offer, all of which are offered free of charge.

4.  Help with clothing and or household items (visit our We Care Ministry Page)

5.  Financial assistance (We do not offer financial assistance but we can provide financial counseling; call our church office, 765-3610)

7.  Tutoring and helping those who need help with learning English (call our church office, 765-3610)
