James Parker

June 20, 2941 — February 6, 2012

We learned Monday afternoon that brother James Parker passed away at 1:30.  Doctors had determined last week that the cancer they had been fighting had spread to his brain and he was released to return home.  Hospice workers came to the home and provided much needed counsel and help in his final days.  James is the father of our sister Cynthia Brown, and grandfather of Cynthia’s two sons, Ray and Andrew.  He has made his home with Cynthia and her family for many years.  He was a Christian and we were delighted to have him as part of our Hartford church family.
