After they married, they became members of the Grand Avenue Church of Christ, but moved their membership back to Hartford Avenue in 2002. She enjoyed growing vegetables and visiting with friends at the Wheatheart Nutrition Center.
She is survived by her husband Les of the home in Ponca City. She is also mourned by many friends within the community and her church. Her remains were donated to Oklahoma University for medical research.
